Every deposit into Rail is instantly split — a portion goes to your spending balance, and the rest is automatically invested through our brokerage partner, Alpaca Securities. No manual steps required.

Is my money safe with Rail?

Rail doesn't hold your funds directly. Cash is held in FDIC-eligible accounts through Bridge, and investments are held at Alpaca Securities, an SEC-registered broker-dealer.

Does Rail charge any fees?

Rail has no subscription fees, no trading fees, and no hidden charges.

Can I still spend my money normally?

Yes. Rail is a full primary account — you get a Visa debit card, direct deposit, and instant access to your spending balance.

Can I withdraw my money anytime?

Yes. Your spending balance is always available instantly. Invested funds can be withdrawn at any time.

By accessing or using the Rail application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Services Overview

Rail provides a mobile platform that connects users with third-party financial service providers for:

Automated wealth management with a rules-based allocation system
Spending account with virtual and physical debit card
Cryptocurrency wallet management (powered by Bridge)
Fiat funding via dedicated virtual accounts (USD, GBP)
Investment and brokerage services (powered by Alpaca Securities)
Multi-chain USDC deposits (Ethereum, Polygon, BSC, Solana)

3. How Rail Works

Every deposit into Rail is automatically divided according to the system's allocation rules. In the current version:

70% is allocated to your Spend Balance for everyday expenses
30% is allocated to the Invest Engine for automatic investment

This split is system-defined, always active, and not user-editable. By depositing funds, you consent to this automatic allocation behavior.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

You acknowledge and agree that:

All funds, crypto assets, and financial holdings are held by our third-party partners: Bridge and Alpaca Securities
Rail does not hold, custody, or directly control user funds
Third-party providers' terms of service apply to their respective services
Rail acts as an intermediary platform connecting users with these providers

Rail is not a bank, brokerage, or financial advisor. Rail is an automated wealth system that connects users with regulated third-party financial service providers. We do not provide personalized investment advice.

6. Investment Risks

All investments involve risk, including possible loss of principal
Past performance does not guarantee future results
Crypto assets are highly volatile and may lose value
The automatic allocation system operates based on predefined rules, not market predictions
You should consult with a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions

7. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old
You must pass identity verification (KYC) as required by our partners
You must be a resident of a supported jurisdiction

8. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
Enable two-factor authentication and PIN protection when available
